What is the song that is played at the end of the movie Ocean's 11?

When all of Ocean's 11 are standing outside the Bellagio, smilling. I really want to know what that song is called. It's all piano.

Bellagio Hotel Packages?

Ok, there are about 200 billion sites on the Bellagio. I am looking for a cheap all inclusive package Air + Hotel. Does anyone recommend any sites they have used before? Please dont recommend I do a search. I have, I would like some feedback from those who have gone and know of some good resources

Thanks

You won't find a lot of Bellagio package deals out there but United Airlines is currently offering one. It's a 3 day min. stay at Bellagio, 2 free tickets to a Cirque du Soleil performance, plus flight.

More details. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com

It's the banner on the lower right corner. Not the Southwest banner but the United Airlines banner.

You will have to find this on each airline's individual webpage to find really good deals. Click on "Vacations" or "Sales" on different local airlines to find deals exclusive to that airline, and then compare prices and amneties.

Its also a good idea to check out Expedia- sometimes they have really good discounts for booking both together.

Most of the time, however- the cheapest way to get to Vegas is by booking seperately. Bellagio's site often has discounts that beat Expedia, and maybe you can find a discount airline that will get you there, such as Allegiant (http://www.allegiantair.com).

Bellagio is the top luxury hotel in Vegas, therefore you wont find many packages.

Most people goiing there have plenty of money to spend, and dont really care about saving a few bucks by booking their trip all together.

What is the best hotel to stay at in Las Vegas and why?

My wife and I are going to Las Vegas for our one year wedding anniversary and are trying to decided where to stay on our trip. We are trying to stay within a budget so that limits our choices (i.e. cannot stay at the Bellagio like we do in our dreams, LOL.).

Where would you recommend staying that is on/close to the Strip, affordable, and just plain great to stay at?

I like Tropicana, the Imperial Palace, Excalibur, Harrah's.

Here is a link to read about each one.

http://www.vegas.com/resorts/

My fiance & I visited on a budget and we stayed at the Sahara. It was one of the lower priced hotels on the strip.

Kinda out of the way, but it was alright because the monorail has a stop at the Sahara, walk out of the hotel and you're on the platform! Then you can take it down to the busier part of the strip easily. You don't have to fight buses or taxi's... plus it's a very fun ride... in my opinion anyway.

The hotel itself isn't overly fancy, and has just a basic pool, but for the price it was pretty good. It's an older place. They had a great buffet, some fun rides (if you're into that) and a cool arcade. The casino was fine as well, not huge, but fun. We loved the steakhouse & the other 'regular' restaurant. It also had an arcade.

It was either the Sahara or the Stratosphere, but at the Stratosphere you're so far away from the rest of the strip, and there's no monorail... (2-3 block walk to the monorail, painful when you're on your feet all day)

That's all the info I can give you, it was a great trip & we cant wait to go back. Hope you two have fun! Oh, happy anniversary!

When we went to Vegas we stayed at the Best Western Mardi Gras. It is about a mile from the strip and they have a shuttle that drops you off right in the middle of the strip. It stopped running about 11 so we would take it down there and either catch a cab or walk back (though I don't recommend walking as you pass through a shady part of town between the strip and the hotel).

We got a great rate online (no more than $60 a night) and the rooms are suite style so we had a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. Amazing deal for being so near the strip at Vegas.

Check www.lasvegasnow.com which is Channel 8's web site with great links.

Right now there are all kinds of deals if you don't go thru a price line type reservation system but directly thru the hotel casino

If you want nice but not on Strip but near but not walking distance

Gold Coast - west of Caesars

Orleans - west of Excalibur

SOuth Point - couple miles south of Mandalay Bay

But on Strip look at Excalibur, Tropicana or Sahara, all with deals

I suggest these hotels

Venetian Resort Hotel Casino Las Vegas http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Hotel/Venetian_Resort_Hotel_Casino_Las_Vegas.htm

Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Hotel/Treasure_Island_Hotel_Las_Vegas.htm

Cheapest hotels on the strip in Las Vegas

Tropicana Resort And Casino Las Vegas - on the strip

http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Hotel/Tropicana_Resort_And_Casino_Las_Vegas.htm

Excalibur Hotel and Casino Las Vegas - south strip - adjacent to MGM Grand Hotel and Casino and New York New York Hotel & Casino

http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Hotel/Excalibur_Hotel_and_Casino_Las_Vegas.htm

Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip

http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Hotel/Imperial_Palace_Hotel_Casino_Las_Vegas.htm

Circus Circus Hotel Las Vegas - is at the north end of the strip.

http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Hotel/Circus_Circus_Hotel_Las_Vegas.htm

Stratosphere Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - at the top of the strip

http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Hotel/Stratosphere_Hotel_Casino_Las_Vegas.htm

It seems as if the older the hotel the less expensive the room, if you want to stay at a nice play, I would suggest going to some of the travel sites, Expedia, Travelocity and see what they can offer on the strip at a reasonable rate.

Tropicana is on the strip, cheap, and mirrors on the walls and celeing above your bed, and a nice pool. Or look at vegas.com at like Planet Hollywood its real nice gives you the rich feeling and in a real prime spot on the strip.

The Luxor, Excalibur or MGM Grand and good bargains for the money. Book directly from the hotels, using their promo code to get the best rates.

Red Rock Casino Resort Spa

Circus Circus Hotel, Casino and Theme Park

well I live in Las Vegas So I would have to say that the Rio is the best. It's right off the strip and it has a good buy

How much would a limo cost from Las Vegas Airport to the strip?

I would like a rough idea of how much it would cost for a limo (stretch) from Las Vegas Airport to the Bellagio. Has anyone done this? Is it better to just get a cab. This is a special trip for my wife and I. (25 yr ann.) So I wouldn't necessarily mind paying a little more for a limo but I do need to save some $ for the tables!!

Contact; The Bellagio. They offer Limo service from the Airport to the Hotel.

Congratulations!!

Good luck!!

There are too many limo companies in Las Vegas. You could try limozu, and they will search all limo services in the area for the best price. Many of the companies offer Airport tranfer at real low price, and the limo service will take care you from A to Z just like a Super Star.

http://www.LimoZu.com

You can have a sedan pick you up at the airport for about 35 dollars you just need to reserve this service from any limo company in Vegas before hand. A cab ride will set you back about ten bucks to the strip. Most limos are about 75 bucks an hour.

Does anyone know of an excellent glass artist for a home remodel project similar to Dale Chihuly's work?

I am a very avid fan of Chihuly's work. I have a skylight and would like to install about 6 or 7 medium to large glass colored flowers into it- very similar to the work that Chihuly did for the Bellagio. I understand that it is expensive and even more difficult to have it done in a timely matter. Does anyone know any quality glass artists who do similar work?

Peter Greenwood

Next time you are in Oklahoma City be sure and drop into the Museum of Art-- where a large display of his work is placed.

good luck on your search.

What is the least travel time from venice to lake como?

We are going to be staying at the Bellagio, and want to know what is the quickest way to get there.

Airplane is the quickest way to get there, though not the cheapest. Good luck!

Does anyone know what the newest resort on the Las Vegas Strip will be?

I saw they were building something next to Bellagio but I couldn't figure out what. Also they are building where the Stardust and New Frontier once were; anyone know?

ThanX in advance.

The one by the Bellagio is Cosmopolitan

What famous and/or artistic man-made fountains would you suggest travelling to see?

Some that come to my mind are:

Buckingham Fountain in Chicago

The Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas

The Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi or "Fountain of the Four Rivers" in Rome.

What other fountains are great must-see tourist sites?

When I was a kid, Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, was a special place. They had colored lights inside the fountains, and just after sunset, they would do a performance where the fountains "danced" in time with music. Awesome!

The gardens are beautiful, too.

P.S. I just checked: They're still there, in fact it looks like they have expanded! Links below.

The Magic Fountain of Montjuic in Barcelona beats all of these hands down. It is huge and they do spectacular shows involving water- acrobatics /light show/classical music. Check it out on utube. It has been going since 1929 and is a must see if you go to Barcelona or you are really into fountains.

villa d'este and the trevi fountain in rome, and the fountain of neptune at versailles.

on of my personal american favorites is the meeting of the waters in st louis, and kansas city has some nice ones.

Should I get married in Las Vegas Bellagio??

I am within 24 hours of booking my location for my wedding in Vegas. It will be in 2007 and I have been looking at the Bellagio to handle my big day. I need to know if I am making the right decision. I have ben there and it looks beautiful, but I am wondering if anybody has had the opportunity to work with their wedding consultants and what kind of job they do.... does it have the vegas marriage on the go feel or do they genuienly care about each individual wedding??

We got married at the Bellagio in September and we definitely feel we made the right decision. There are lots of options within the standard packages, but they had suggestions of their own and helped out with lots of additional stuff like hair and make-up bookings, special seating for a family member with mobility problems, and room bookings - we even got an upgrade to a penthouse suite because of our booking with them. The photographs are wonderful too - you won't regret it.

Good luck!

If you are a dedicated member of a church, thats the only way the preacher will care about your wedding. Otherwise its all about money

yes you should a friend of mine is getting married at Mandalay Bay in June and she was debating whether to go there or Bellagio, her future hubby like Mandalay but I saw pics and I actually liked Bellagio better go for it , it beautiful.

A friend of mine got married in Vegas last year - I remember that they stayed at the Bellagio, but got married at Little Chapel of the Flowers. I don't know if they're connected or not, so this may not be useful to you... They were very pleased with it though, and had a simple, classy wedding with just the two of them, just like they wanted. They certainly felt like they got personal attention, and have no regrets whatsoever. Congratulations, and good luck!

I got married at the Paris Las Vegas and it was beautiful. The Bellagio will probably be beautiful too. Your wedding coordinators will work with you...just make sure you get the kind of wedding you want. I worked with my coordinator to change my flowers (from their large hanging bouquet to just a simple red rose bouquet.) Tuxedo rental sometimes isn't very good...even after measurements were sent and they went for a fitting...the tuxedos were large and hanging off some of the men.

A friend of mine got married there in the gondolas, The pictures were gorgeous. She said she e-mailed back and forth to them so they would have her bouquet right and she had her hair and makeup done there. She came back saying it was the best wedding.

really you cam get married wherever you want too

Which Las Vegas show would you recommend more? Bellagio's O or Wynn's La Reve?

I'll be going to Las Vegas (among other places) for my Honeymoon. We are trying to decide which show to go to. We kinda like the idea of both La Reve and O. Celine Dion won't be singing the days I'm there, so we are pretty much split between those two.

Bellagio's O is definitely the better of the two. I have family that lives in Vegas and work at some of the hotels. They have seen it several times and still enjoy it. They say it is an amazing show. I, unfortunately, have not been able to see it yet.

I've been to several other Cirque shows and I can tell you from experience they are absolutely amazing. I've seen the Orlando show countless times and it still amazes me. It's great time and time again, you see something new everytime. Cirques shows are absolutley amazing, you will not be dissapointed.

bellagio's O

Bellagio's "O"! Hands down! La Reve isn't worth your time! Or you can watch La Reve first and then watch "O" so you can see how lame La Reve is.

How much is my painting worth?

I bought two beautifully framed paintings or serigraphs by S. Sam Park. One is named Bellagio with signature and 175/505 in the bottom right hand corner and the other is Amalfi with signature and 345/505.

I am not savvy in art but saw them in a window at a flea market mall and fell in love with them. Can someone tell me what they may be worth?

The only reliable way to find out what they are worth is to take them to a reputable art appraiser. But they are not cheap. BTW, they sound like prints, not paintings, because normally when you have two numbers like that with a slash between them, it means that that print is the first number out of a series. The second number is the total amount of prints in the series.

Need of of art glass person that has a display in Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas.?

The Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas is one of the real luxury casino hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. The Bellagio Hotel theme is one of European refined taste. Upon entering the lobby, the first thing one notices is the ceiling and the 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers created by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly.

I own a moto Guzzi motorcycle and would be curious to know how would i be able to make the exhaust louder?

The motorcycle is a Moto Guzzi Bellagio and would just like it to sound louder.

You might own a Moto Guzzi motorcycle, but are you old enough to ride it, ( you don't sound like you are)..

Good somebody who likes loud bikes.

Both the asnwers about drilling the hole and removing the baffles are good.

You can also remove the silencers and fit Slash Cuts, my mate has these on his Guzzi and they sound great.

Whatever you do though check that you haven't got a loss of performance or that the mixture isn't running weak- you may need to adjust the carburation.

There are after market exhausts but they are expensive.

Take a drillbit out and mount it to the drill motor. Drill a 2" hole centered where the existing hole in the muffler is. You want a LONG drillbit. drill the hole 1 foot into the muffler can. Now, get some earplugs, put them on. Start the MottoGuzzi!

FANTASTIC, ISN"T IT! MAKES A REAL MANLY SOUNDING MOTORCYCLE. I HOPE YOUR NEIGHBORS WAKE UP AND CALL THE COPS WHEN YOU RIDE PAST.

Well, LaFranconi used to make replacement 'silencers' for Moto-Guzzis - don't know if they still do though.

Get in touch with Moto Mecca down in Dorset - they are a Guzzi aftermarket parts specialist.

Go to a brain surgeon and ask for an implant. Then get your testosterone levels reduced. Either that or do us all a favour and die.

take the baffles out of your muffler, youl see rivets at the end of your muffler, drill thoses out and remove the baffle.easy

tinker has it or even a long chisel and a hammer I've done this to a old triumph years ago when i was young but quiet is best

how old are you ?

Does anyone know of an artist that does Dale Chihuly type glass work for residential projects?

I am a very avid fan of Chihuly's work. I have a skylight and would like to install about 6 or 7 medium to large glass colored flowers into it- very similar to the work that Chihuly did for the Bellagio. I understand that it is expensive and even more difficult to have it done in a timely matter. Does anyone know any quality glass artists who do similar work?

This is the subject of a major argument about copyright (with a lawsuit), about copying a popular artist, and about an artist extending a common technique to its very limits.

Almost any hot glass artist who wishes can make bowls and roundels that are very similar to that part of Chihuly's work. I can aim you at two in the Dallas area that do. There are a couple of notorious guys who work to make their work as exactly like Chihuly's work as possible.

What makes Chihuly's unique and costly is the huge size and the carefully coordinated arrangements of several related pieces (like bowls nested or beside each other) and the layers of color, most often on a mottled white inside with added colors picked up and threaded around as well as the classic contrasting lip wrap.

Even if a glass artist does not usually produce stuff like Chihuly's, if you visit his studio or gallery, you may find something similar that will satisfy you.

Does anyone have an opinion on the rooms that were remodeled at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas?

Heading there for a march madness trip, and are deciding between Bellagio, PH or the Wynn.

They're really nothing special. I would rather stay at the Wynn.

I can't imagine they're as nice as Wynn or Bellagio

New York New York vs. The Bellagio?

I'll be going to Vegas in late September for my 3rd visit.. not sure which hotel to stay at this time. There will be 6 people all between the ages of 21 and 25. Should we spend the extra money to stay at the Bellagio? Or should we stay at the NYNY as it has more nightclubs/bars aimed at my age group?

(P.S. I've stayed at NYNY before and loved it, but is the Bellagio really all that special for a Partial Lakeview Room? My other friends havent been in Vegas before.)

for people of your age you should stay at either Mandalay Bay or Hard Rock or Palms. Bellagio is nice, but not worth the extra $$. If you want to splurge go Venetian or Wynn before Bellagio. Mandalaly Bay has an 11 acre pool second to none, while Hard Rock and Palms are loaded with 20 somethings, and Palms has the best clubs

Bellagio is definitely for an older crowd. I got strange looks from the hotel staff when I came back at 5 am. NYNY is fun, but if you want to stay on the strip, MGM is a great place for young folk. Many restaurants and clubs.

Do not stay at the Bellagio if you are 21 to 25, you will be bored out of your mind. It is an upscale hotel for rich (and I mean rich) older people. There is nothing in it for you except extra money and I don't know if you have checked the rates but it is a lot more than "extra". The NYNY is a great, affordable hotel especially at your age. If you're looking for a change check out the Rio, it caters even more to young people.

Just like everyone else said, New York New York is more for younger people. the Bellagio is more upscale and for older crowds.

If all the people in your group are "partiers" , I would stay at NYNY just for the younger vibe it gives off than Bellagio does. Bellagio gives off the opulent "more money than I know what to do with" vibe.

BTW - the bands that play at the Big Apple Bar ABSOLUTELY ROCK!!

I would recommend The Palms for that age group - it's a fun hotel, lots of parties and clubs, more suited to your needs.

Out of the two provided, definitely the Bellagio! It's a beautiful hotel, very luxurious.

The best part of the Bellagio is the butterfly gardens. Save your money by doing a quick run-through and stay at NYNY.

I would also agree that NYNY will be a better time for the 20 somethings not to mention it will be considerably cheaper leaving more money for alcohol. It is also in a good location across from MGM and not far from Mandalay Bay.

If you've narrowed your search to those two properties you are definitely better off at NYNY. NYNY is more affordable on all accounts...food, gambling, rooms, etc... There is more to do for your age group as well. Bellagio is a little stuffier, the only advantage is its location in the center of the strip but NYNY is in a good spot as well. You have the clubs in NYNY plus Studio 54 right across the street at MGM. None of the other hot spots are far away either. Hard Rock, Palms, Drais are all close.

Between the two, definitely NYNY. The Bellagio, as has been said, is for the VERY rich and older crowd, it is pretentious, not fun.

You may be more confortable at theNYNY the Bellagio is a fine casino but more upscale and consevervitive it also bring 20s somethings but not the party crowd

You should really consider the Mandalay, Palms, or Hard Rock for your age group.

to save money I'd go with NY,NY, bellagio tends to get expensive. If you stay in the bellagio you wont have party and gambling money. lol

Bellagio - Las Vegas?

I need an affordable rate at the Bellagio in Vegas from 3/1-3/4. Any tips? Please let me know if you have better pricing. I am coming from ATL to LAS and I already have the plane ticket. But, if you have an awesome resource to get the plane and hotel package, I will entertain. Thanks fellow Yahoo-ers!

I suggest that you stay somewhere else. You are not going to get a special deal there unless you are part of a convention or a big gambler. Try Bally's which is across the street or the Barbary Coast. It is not far from the Polo Towers, a timeshare building with low rates. The Jockey Club timeshare is right next to Bellagio's, but they are doing construction there and I think it would be pretty noisy right now. You could contact them and ask, but they are the closest to Bellagio

The other responders are correct. You are trying to get a deal on a weekend and they are booked on weekends. You also should not lie about how much you would gamble to get a casino rate because if you don't gamble that much, you will be charged full rate. Why do you want to only stay at the Bellagio, anyway?

I am afraid that you are out of luck. Your only option is to try to call the Casino Host, and maybe they will be able to get you a casino rate, which is much cheaper, than the posted rates, just call and tell them you want to inquire about their qualifications for their casino rates, and you may actually get a good rate if you feel you will meet those. But being the Bellagio dont expect good rates if you intend to only only gamble a few bucks at the nickel machines, and dont tell them you intend to gamble thousands, and dont, just to get good rates. Be honest. Southwest Airlines also has excellent vacation packages to Vegas including good room rates, but being from Atlanta I dont think they fly out of there.

The crowds are in Vegas on the weekends...that usually is not the time to ask for deals...your trip is on a the weekend....

Bellagio = affordable? NO. The average room rate is $399 a night - MAYBE dropping to $259 if you get lucky. I'd recommend Treasure Island instead - that's usually $229 or so a night.

www.vegas.com is the BEST way I've found to get cheap deals on rooms & airfare - it's thru US Airways.

the bellagio will cost you your left arm, leg, and possibly, your left testicle as well. it's outrageous! honestly, i've been to vegas four times now...it's my FAVORITE place to migrate and if there's one thing i've learned, it's this: you can enjoy the very best of vegas town without staying in a ridiculously priced hotel! stay just off the strip. you can walk everywhere and all-day bus passes up and down the strip are cheap. you can party in and enjoy all the perks of the luxurious hotels without forking over an account full of greenbacks. have fun!

Has anyone been to Naha Shabu-Shabu Grill & Restaurant, or Koi Bar & Restaurant in Bellagio Square, J.Bocobo st. Malate? I need some info. Thanks.

yes. was not treated well by the servers. I will not go back

yes, they complained that I finished all of the bangus

Is the Bellagio worth the money?

I would say no---you are not going to spend a lot of time in the room so what difference does it make where you stay?

Yes it is worth the money. The hotel is gorgeous and the casino is as well. I think they fix everything in the casino though, everyone who goes there seems to lose all their money right away.

my wife and i stayed there on our wedding night they treated us like a king and queen it is worth the money

Well most people don't come to Vegas to stay in their rooms. Bellagio is a beautiful hotel but the majority of the beauty can be seen without staying there. Just walk around and explore the Bellagio without paying the big bucks.

Totally worth the money. Have you seen their bathrooms? The one I stayed in was bigger than my house. I wasnt in the room a lot, but at night it was so nice to come back to a clean, nice smelling room with a wonderful bed to sleep off the tequila. If you're gonna do it, do it well.

Beautiful Casino inside and out, Nice buffet, good restraunts, expensive table bets and slot machines, the fountain is pretty cool. The rooms are nice and clean. If you want to feel prestigaious, stay here. (It is pretty central and that is good)

Eh, I mean if you got it flaunt it. I stayed at the Flamingo, across from the Bellagio, very nice place and very affordable.

No...It is pretty but not worth the price.

Las Vegas is the cesspool of sin, its not worth going there either.

i say u stay there for like 1 night it is really expensive so if u like it then u know it is worth it but in the other night go to like farfeild it is cool. it is unknown but it is huge, so if ur goin with family go there

not really unless your coming to Vegas to spend the whole time in your hotel. Get a cheaper room you only need it to sleep for a few hours and shower.

Ooh, definitely.

It's gorgeous.

Only the rooms are but I have sent clients there over and over and NO ONE ever left winning they all said the same thing :

"I lost everything right away"

Meh...I was a fan of New York New York myself...it's not nearly as expensive but still a fun hotel to check out.

Bellagio is beautiful, has great restaurants, shows, water fountain, etc. However, Venetian has better rooms though.

It all depends on what your trip's purpose is. If you're on your honeymoon - yes. If just a vacation, save your money and stay somewhere else, and spend the money doing things in Bellagio.

Where is the best place to elope in Las Vegas?

My boyfriend and I are deciding to get married after 6 years of being together, but neither of us want the hoopla of a wedding. We are going to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving, and are looking to quietly get married. I am looking for a nice, classy place that is not themed or cheesy in any way. We don't want to spend more than $1,000 so the Bellagio is out. Maybe four or so people will be in attendance. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Click on Lakeside Gardens or Royal Terrace.

The weather will be lovely in November for an outdoor wedding.

My daughter got married at Lakeside Gardens last year. The wedding was beautiful. The package included flowers and photographer. Check it out. And my daughter's pictures looked just like the ones on the website so it's very accurately depicted.

I think the Lake Las Vegas gondola wedding would be awesome too. You said just 4 people right? Very intimate and the pictures will be beautiful. Great memories.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding.

We got married in the Little chapel of the west its near mandalay bay and not cheesy at all, like you we wanted a ceremony with some class and this we feel was provided here. There are some pretty grotty chapels in Vegas so I would go somewhere that is recommended by someone who has been there rather than a book, a review or someone trying to be helpful because they know some on who got married at so an so.

it here is a photo,

My husband and I just got married there on the 15th and we went to Belleza wedding chapel. they weren't expensive at all, it was the cutest little place ever, they were very helpful and did not rush us through it. we have some GREAT pictures and a video. they also let you do custom music to walk down the aisle and you get your first dance at the end of the ceremony. we had 48 people and everyone loved it.

Go Downtown and purchase your license at the Marriage Bureau, then either have them marry you or go to the Little Chapel of the West. To keep the cost down do not use their flowers, or have them take pictures or record it. For rates check www.lasvegasnow.com

Well an early congratulations to you and your boyfriend! The link I posted in the source is a nice video on all the hot spots in Vegas. Hope it helps and congrats again!

What is the best kind of massage to get at a spa?

And how much is too much to spend? I know that the Bellagio in Las Vegas charges upwards of $200 for a massage!

You should visit www.spavelous.com under Spavelous Spa Terminology to find definitions of the different types of massages. The best massage for each person is different. Hot stone massage is a great massage if you tend to have cold hands, cold feet and like heat. This massage is a routine, so if you have more specific problem areas that you need worked out, this may not be for you. If you have a lot of red in your skin or hair or tend to be too warm, or have a heat sensitivity you may not enjoy hot stones. A wrap is not a massage, it is a treatment. They apply product to your skin and then cocoon you up in blankets or a heat pad. If you are claustrophobic, have high blood pressure or are pregnant, this is not for you. A scrub is also not a massage. They rub a scrub on your body to exfoliate dry dead skin. Costs of massages vary by area and type of spa. Most resorts charge $125 - $190 for 60 to 90 minutes. Usually they are higher priced then day spas because it includes, steam room, jacuzzi, shower facilities relaxation areas, and fitness classes. You may want to review spa etiquette so you will know what questions to ask when you book your services. Relax and have fun.

you get what you pay for. i get full back including neck and shoulders

Does anyone know where the normal consumer can buy Sobel Linen towels or the same quality?

I recently stayed at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and they had the Sobel towels which are the best towels I have EVER used. I wast to buy them for my house but it does not seem that they sell directly to the public. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think Sobel Westex has an online storefront at http://www.sobelwestex.com/storefrontB2CWEB/index.do?action=i where you can order them. I made it to the point of entering my credit card number and then cancelled the order. You may have to have them shipped to a business address since they use UPS Commercial for shipping.

You may also try contacting the Bellagio Concierge service about buying some towels at 866-906-7171.

What is the best hotel in Vegas for a honeymoon?

My fiance and I are eloping in Vegas this summer. We stayed at the Bellagio last year, and though we liked the quality, we found it a little "uppity", any suggestions?

btw - we would prefer to be on the strip

Wynn!

I have stayed at more Las Vegas hotels than I would like to publicly admit. By uppity, did you mean the staff were arrogant or they didn't treat you right? That's definitely a no-no in Las Vegas, as the hotels are in keen competition with one another, so they are supposed to go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Focusing on the Strip, since you did not have the best experience at the Bellagio, I'm not so sure you would like my #1 recommendation now-- the Wynn Las Vegas. Plush, luxurious, elegant, but still fun. I think that the atmosphere would put you and yours in the best of moods. As someone has already recommended, the Venetian is also an excellent choice. The recreations of Italian scenery are simply stunning.

If you want to tone things down a bit, there is the traditional and reliable Las Vegas standby, Caesars Palace. Still has some great rooms, but not as modern as the ones I've mentioned above.

Of course, you want to get a great all-around package of the hotel, great entertainment, fine dining, and at the right price. So shop around a bit.

Another idea for you is to rent a top-tier condo on the Strip for a short stay. I've not done this personally, but I have a friend who stayed with his girlfriend at one of these places and he said it was sensational. And, of course, if you seek casino action and entertainment, you need only take the elevator down and you're within steps of several of them. Here's the phone numbers for information: 858-456-2722 or 702-525-0088.

Best of luck.

Hello Ashley!

I don't know how much you have to spend but I would seriously recommend the Las Vegas Hilton. You only get married once so splurging for the luxury seems to me like a good deal. It is in my opinion the nicest hotel on the strip. You can read more about it here. http://lasvegas.theinformationexperts.com/las-vegas-hilton/

Have a great honeymoon! I hope this information helps!

Personally Bellagio sucks, Venetian is far more romantic than tht places, and it is way over priced. I took my wif to the Venetian and we stayed on the conciege level suite's, wow, the best room I have had in Vegas to date. It's very private, quiet, and they offer free drinks at the bar on that level, I think it's the 14thor something, free popcorn and you can pick a dvd to take to your room to watch or free, and you have access to the private pool and jacuzzi area.

I would want to stay at the Paris for some reason.....or maybe the Venetian. Though that may be a bit uppity also. The Paris just sounds so romantic. I know you can request a room overlooking the strip and then you can watch the Bellagio fountain show from your room.

Omg take my word The Mandalay Bay!!! My husband and I stayed there last May 07. Its soooooo great! I want to go back and live there. Eat at the Bayside Buffet in the Mandalay Bay as well. All you can eat Steak,Shrimp,Crablegs,Everything You can eat!!!!!!!!!!!

How much money should I take to Vegas?

Staying at the Bellagio and I have no idea how much money I will need to take with me. I'm not really much of a gambler and I looked at the prices for "O" and nearly fainted. I am going with four other people (siblings/cousins) and I want to treat them to something nice - but not so extravagant that I'll put myself in the poor house. Any recommendations?

Take as much as you're comfortable with, but you'll proabably need at least a few hundred. If you need to take money out of a machine, do so downtown rather than on the Strip (e.g. $30 withdrawal fee at the Mirage).

bring your debit card, ATM card - don't take hard cash, withdraw money from the atm as you need them. they are all over the place.

No more than 300-400 dollars and just be smart because Vegas is made off of losers not winners.

I suggest one days pay for every day you stay there.

Take as much money as you feel comfortable never seeing again

some of the adult/Risque shows offer 2 for 1 coupons, shows in Ballys (jubilee) rio and harrahs (forget the names) the dancers walk around in the day passing out the coupons.. Also, try taking a taxi they have tons of coupons and passes to clubs and shows just give them a good tip

have fun

How much tip i have to give to the waiter if i like to have a drink everytime i play?

I like ti drink 12 years scotch and I am going to play at the venetian, TI and Bellagio, I am not a big player.

a 20 dollar tip up front to your waiter/waitress will have you drinking premium alcohol all night. introduce yourself by your first name when you get your first drink and slide them the 20. then a few bucks every couple of drinks, and they'll treat you like your royalty. vegas aint all about gambling.

$1...depending how much money have left. if winning can tip more after while if want to

usually the ideal tip would be 5% of your total expense for the meal or drink. Thats generous enough for the waiter to remember you and keeps pouring your favorite drink everytime you drop by their place.

if you play in the main casino...$1.00 per drink is acceptable. If you go to any of the high roller rooms...$5.00 is the norm. Sometimes I only tip every other drink. unless I'm winning. When I'm winning I'm subject to tip anything when they "keep 'em coming"!

the average I receive for tips is a dollar per drink but if you want to make the cocktail waitresses happy and make sure they return, then tip them 5 the first time and we will be back ;)

What has the better breakfast buffets and which one should go for dinner in Vegas?

I know Paris has the best breakfast. My choices are the Wynn buffet, Bellagio, Manaday Bay, and Planet Holloywood?

For dinner the Bellagio has the better buffet of your three choices. The Mirage buffet would be another excellent choice. The Bellagio has the best king crab legs in a buffet I've ever seen and the choices are excellent. The Mirage is newly redecorated and is so upscale you don't even feel like you're dining at a buffet.

I used to think that the Paris has the best breakfast - but the Wynn now takes the cake for me, especially for weekend brunch (for me, breakfast isn't before 10:30am anyways). The Wynn has an awesome seafood bar, excellent pastries and a variety of excellent international foods (like congee, which is a typical weekend brunch dish). At the Paris, I found that the lines were too long and that the items were not refilled in a timely fashion. They didn't have the selection of cheeses that I once remembered.

There are so many awesome non-buffet restaurants at the hotels you listed that I never end up going to the buffet. Either way, skip Planet Hollywood. It's nothing special - neither the buffet nor the regular restaurants.

sorry i just had to comment on the guys buffet choice. the name is HILARIOUS! haha i would recommend the bellagio. pricey yet delicious!

I personally prefer the breakfast buffets at Excalibur and at Golden Nugget.... but I think it all boils down to personal tastes and what you are willing to spend.

DEFINITELY go to a place in New York New York called Sung Lee's House of Yum Yum. It's outstanding (dinner).

Seating for O show in bellagio?

I am getting to choose from 3 options for the 'O' show.

SECTION 205:Row S (2nd last from the last row): Seats 3, 4(towards the curved edge) : $125 each

SECTION 205:Row P (2nd row from the front): Seats 11,12 (towards the curved edge): $125 each

SECTION 204:Row O (1st row from the front): Seats 11,12: Limited view seats: $99 each

Can anyone suggest which would be the one to pick for the best view?

The ones in Row O would not be a good bet. I would go with the ones in Row P as they're slightly closer to the stage than the ones in Row S, but in reality you would be able to see everything from either. And you're in for some great entertainment - the performance is amazing.

Stay away from the limited view seats...other than that you should be good.

Bellagio or Wynns? Which is the better hotel?

Has anyone stayed at both hotels, and if so, which was better and why>? Thanks

two four star properties pick you pleasure and happiness.

Let me make it easy for you and clear this up.

THE WYNN IS THE BEST PROPERTY ON THE STRIP!

Thank You.........That is all.

They are both excellent hotel casinos. Wynn is newer but both have great buffets and restaurants. You can't go wrong at either one of them.

Its Wynn not Wynns. But def the Wynn

The Wynn for sure. I would rather stay at the venetian or even Caesars Palace before the Bellagio. The Bellagio is probably the most over rated and over priced hotel in Vegas.

They are both beautiful hotels so you can't go wrong staying at wither one. Bellagio is geared more toward old money and has an older demographic. The Wynn cateres more towards the nuevo riche and is hip and trendy.

The Wynn is too stuffy for my taste. I perfer the Bellagio. Plus the Bellagio is in the middle of the strip - rather then at the crapy end (towards fremont street) were the Wynn is located.

Bellagio for sure Wynn is too far out

The Bellagio http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/bellagio.html

and the Wynn http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/wynn.html

are both 5 diamond AAA rated hotels and actually two of the best places to stay in Las Vegas. It is actually a toss up and you cannot go wrong with either choice.

You should only make your decision based on your budget, the price you are getting and what shows you plan to see while in Vegas. If you want to see Le Reve, staying at Wynn will make it easy for you to get a ticket and good seat. The same thing goes for Bellagio and "O" by Cirque Du Soleil

Who makes the bellagio bedroom set in the las vegas hotel? and where can i buy it online? www.bellagio.com?

hotel room suites

I contacted the Bellagio for you to get your answers, and here's what I found out:

You can purchase the pillows, comforter, and even the bed itself by calling the Bellagio gift shop line at 1-888-549-7111. The pillows cost $21 each for a queen, and $30 for a king. The comforter costs $79.

The mattress used in the Bellagio rooms is a Presidential Suite Pillowtop, made exclusively for the Bellagio by Serta. You can buy the whole bed -- the mattress, the box spring, shipping, and delivery -- for $1500 for a queen, and $1700 for a king.

Hope that helps -- so glad you enjoyed your trip!

What is the name of the opera song that used to be on a spaghetti commercial?

If anyone can answer my vague question, you will have EARNED 10 points! There used to be a spaghetti noodle or sauce commercial (like Ragu or Preggo), and there was an Italian opera song playing in the background... I think it was just a man, but it might have been a man/woman duet. I also heard this song at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV... the fountains "dance" to the song. Any idea what it is??? I absolutely love the song.

I think I remember what you're talking about, and I'm trying to hear it in my head... I'm pretty sure the tenor singing that particular piece was Andrea Bocelli, and I want to say that the pasta was Barilla... I know, I know...Still haven't answered your question about what the aria in the commercial was... I've racked my brain, and that's about as much as I can narrow it down to... I looked on iTunes, and I couldn't find it -- there were plenty of others, but not that one. If my cds weren't in storage, I'd be able to pin it down for you... It's going to drive me nuts all night long. I'm positive that it was sung by Andrea Bocelli, though -- try looking through his discography...

I think the one you're talking about is more lyrical than "La Donna e Mobile" (although that would be a typical pasta-type song, as would have been "O Sole Mio" or "Libiamo!") It's definitely from one of the more infamous Italian operas, and I'm thinking its a Rossini or Verdi thing, but for some reason Bellini is sticking out...

I think it is "La Donne e Mobile" and I am not sure I spelled the Italian correctly, but it means "Women are fickle" and it is from Rigoletto, sung by the duke, who is a tenor, and Pavarotti sang the role, among others.

Dah-DUM-da DUM-da-dah, etc.

Is O still playing at the Bellagio in Las Vegas?

Here is the website with times and prices!!!

http://www.bellagio.com/o-cirque-du-soleil/o-cirque-du-soleil.aspx

Yes, there are now FIVE Cirque shows on The Strip.

Yes. Read the reviews here and watch a video clip here

"O" by cirque du soleil @ the Bellagio

http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cirque-du-soleil.html

Has anyone seen "O" at the Bellagio? How long is the show?

yes 1 hour and 40 minutes

I have seen it. The show is about 2 hours, with a short intermission, and that time doesn't include getting to the show, finding your seat, etc.

I would like to add, though, I've seen a number of Cirque du Soleil shows and O is the only one I didn't like. Every other show I've seen, I've loved -- Cirque du Soleil is amazing. If you're debating what show to see in Vegas, I would highly recommend Mystere at Treasure Island over O.

What restaurant should we go to for our Anniversary in Vegas?

I hate seafood, so if it is seafood, please make sure they have steaks before suggesting it. I would prefer some place on the strip so it will be convenient for us. We are staying in a suite at the Bellagio. Thanks!

We spent our 10th anniversary in Vegas & had dinner at Delmonico's in the New York New York casino. Excellent steaks!

There are a lot of nice places along the strip that you can eat at like the restaurant that is in the Ifle Tower,, very expensive though. Online yellow pages show you all of the restaurants that are in Vegas by the type of food they serve and even the atmosphere of the place. B&B Ristorante is Italian and on Las Vegas Blvd if you like italian food : >

Depends on how much you are willing to spend and what sort of cuisine you like.

If you're a fan of Asian, Jasmine is a fantastic choice, and you won't even need to leave to hotel.

Some people might recommend Picasso, but I would stay away. Extremely expensive and, more importantly, not worth it.

If you like steaks, the Country Club at the Wynn is awesome.

For excellent French fare, I would suggest Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand.

Best of luck.

N9NE Steakhouse is amazing! The atmosphere is really nice, and the food is absolutely delicious.

Mesa Grill in Caesars Palace. Chef Bobby Flay

Hugo's Cellar in the 4 Queens. Hard to beat.

At Bellagio, how much is the video poker at the bar? Do they make you play max credits? Thanks!?

The bar has $1 video poker at the bar I was sitting at. And I got a free drink when I was there. They do not make you play max credits, play however many credits you want at a time.

3 oz coconut milk

1 banana

Blend with ice until smooth. Pour into a hurricane glass and garnish with coconut flakes.

Just curious to know what that is.

Bellagio water show?

I'm doing a project on the Bellagio Water Show in Las Vegas. I have litterally looked everywhere and I cant find anything about how they work! I was wondering if you guys new any information about the fountains, how they work, and detalis about the pressure, anything really. Thanks!

On the Bellagio website it mentions that the makers of the fountains are Wet Design.

Bellagio website: http://www.bellagio.com/amenities/fountains-of-bellagio.aspx

On the Wet Design website you will find loads of information and photographs on description, design process, construction and choreography of the fountains.

Have you checked out the Wet Design website? http://www.wetdesign.com/client/bellagio/index.html These are the folks who built the fountains........ Under the tab 'News and Fun Stuff' are a bunch of magazine articles with tidbits of data.

After you plow through that - why don't you try to just call the company and ask a few questions? Might make for an interesting interview!

I hope these links will help you

Call the Bellagio directly using their 800 reservation number and ask for public relations who will send you all the information you need.

There was a show on the Travel Channel on this subject. They're always rerunning shows, if you're lucky, you may see it. Or check their web site.

Bellagio buffet in vegas?

has anyone been to the bellagio buffet recently? do they still have that awesome beef wellington?

I think the beef wellington is offered on the gourmet buffet nights (Friday and Saturday) but they probably also rotate their offerings. I've been to the gourmet buffet three times, and really only remember seeing once, possibly twice. I have seen a variety of other offerings at their carving stations, including venison, kobe beef and lamb chops, but they usually offer about 5-6 meats on the carving stations.

The last time I was there was June. Your best bet would be to call them to see if they have a schedule or listing of items on the buffet - usually that might only be available on the day of the serving, but they might be able to tell you if/when that might be available.

If you are dying for it, most restaurants will make anything you want provided they have the ingredients. They will set the price and you should be prepared to pay it without haggling. You might try calling one of the better steak houses or your favorite and ask them if they would make it for you. you would have to make a reservation. It also might take a bit longer to prepare to order.

i was there last weekend, and i dont recall a beef wellington...sorry

Cheap Breakfasts Near The Bellagio?

Is there anywhere near (within walking distance preferably) the Bellagio where you can get a good cheap breakfast? Not bothered if it's buffet or not, have enjoyed the likes of IHOP and Denny's on previous visits.

I just answered a similar question in this category. I would say Ellis Island. It is located behind Ballys so the walk isn't too bad. You can look at their menu online. I recommend the Hungry Man for $4.95. Huge ham steak, 3 eggs, potatos, biscuits & gravy. The ham is very good. I've eaten breakfast here several times.

There is a Denny's on the strip, but it is closer to New York New York and therefore, probably a good 20-30 minute walk from the Bellagio. Across the street though, in the Aladdin Shops is the Cheeseburger (in paradise? but a different name in vegas) that serves an awesome breakfast!

probably best breakfast in LV is in a strip mall behind the blvd, its called bagel mania, non discript, down to earth foods, great omelettes, great anything! priced perfect, lots of regualrs from entertainers to boxing refs eat there... enjoy

The AM/PM Mini Market has coffee and donuts!

Brunch at Circus Circus (half an hour walk from Bellagio)

Try the cheaper hotels around you buffets!!!

Sunday Brunch at the Bellagio is the ****!!!!

It sure ain't cheap though....

I always go to a bar off the strip for cheap breakfast - but that's a far walk.

Good luck!

Las Vegas tips. Bellagio?

I have just booked up to go to Vegas in april, were stopping in the Bellagio. Has anyone stopped here before? Any tips?

Also what must I get up to whilst there?

What restaraunts are the best?

Any help much appreciated.

We stayed at Bellagios once and the room was great, but I didn't think it was as good as the room we had at Ceasers. I like playing in their casino because its spacious, not crowded. But everything in the hotel is expensive.

The main things you should do/see in Vegas:

1. Number one on my list is to watch the fountains displays in front of the Bellagio hotel. It usually runs every 15 minutes in summers starting at 3:00 PM; runs continuously until about midnight. Each show is different (there are more than 20 different tunes choreographed) so stay and watch at least 2 or 3. ALSO, go inside the Bellagio hotel to its lobby and view the beautiful glass sculptured ceiling AND the seasonal floral arrangements in the Atrium.

2. The “Sirens of TI” show (spectacular) in from of the Treasure Island Hotel; it runs every 90 minutes starting at about 4:30 PM. Simply stand on the sidewalk in front of the TI Hotel.

3. The volcano erupt in from of the Mirage Hotel; starting at dark until midnight. Again, just stand on the sidewalk in front of the hotel.

4. Go down to Fremont Street and see the light shows. There are usually 3 or 4 different shows, starting after dark (about 8:30PM) and lasting about 5 or 10 minutes each.

5. Go to the RIO hotel to see the Masquerade in the Sky show. It is like Mardi Gras parade, only suspended from the ceiling over the gambling floor. It runs every 60 minutes starting about 3:00 PM; the last show starts at 9:30 PM..

6. Go to the MGM Grand hotel to see the Lion habitat. This is better then the tiger habitat at the Mirage Hotel because there are usually trainers in with lions to keep them active.

7. Go to the Mirage hotel to see the white tigers that Siegfried and Roy show used. This is kinda passe because the tigers rarely do anything but sit and stare.

8. Go in Caesars Palace and walk through the Forum shops to the first fountain (its spectacular) then take the first fork to the left to go see the aquarium. Then continue on through the shops to the second fountain and wait for the show to start.

9. Go into the Flamingo hotel to see their animal habitat with flamingos and penguins.

10 The Excalibur hotel also has a free show starting at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM.

If you are a Star Trek Fan, go to the Hilton (off the strip) for "Star Trek The Experience"; it cost about $25.

If you want to see a production show, I recommend the show at Bally's, "Jubilee" (there is a "top covered" version for families at about 7:00PM) and the show at the MGM, "KA". These will cost about $100 each; that's the going rate for production shows in Vegas now. I aso suggest that you buy tickets online before you go, particularly if you want to see a Circ d Sol show. You can try for discounted show tickets at a booth in the building with the coke bottle, look for Coke World and the M&M factory. They are same day tickets sold on a first come basis. I have never done this but see people doing it. If you are in Vegas as a couple, you will be stopped many times by folks in a number of hotels trying to offer free stuff in exchange for listening to time share presentations. They will get on your nerves. But if you don't mind sitting through a time share presentation you can get free show tickets or some cash. I also recommend Gladys Knight’s show at the Flamingo and also the George Wallace comedy show at the Flamingo. Clint Holmes' show at Harrahs is good but I didn't care for The Scintas at the Rio Hotel. If you like oldies, go see the show at the Sahara Hotel featuring the Drifters, Flamingos, and Coasters.

People go to Vegas to sightsee as well as gamble. You can see most of the stuff on the Strip by walking, so you don't need a rental car. There is a free monorail between Bellagio and the Monte Carlo Hotel and also another free one between Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. The one on the opposite side of the street which runs from the MGM to the Hilton you have to pay to ride. There is a free bus between Harrahs Hotel to the RIO Hotel that runs every half hour. There is also a free bus that you can get outside the Barbary Coast Casino that will take you to the Orleans and some other off strip casinos.

Plan which hotels/casinos you want to visit each day so you can make the most of your walking and the free monorails and scuttles. When you get to Vegas you will probably have in your hotel room a free guide to the city called either "What's ON" , “Showbiz”or "Las Vegas Today". These are helpful guises as they have a map of the Strip and city with the hotels marked, current hotel shows and prices, plus useful coupons. Some coupons will give you a free souvenir from certain hotels; you just have to take the coupon to the hotel. They also list hotel restaurants and buffets time sand prices.

if you are a sports fan, u can see the 51's at Cashman Field or the wranglers at the orleans arena

I went to vegas 2 years ago ,the bellagio is one of the best out their.this really is a 24hr town.go to the hoover dame, and the grand canyon, also take in some shows.food Vere's big time .the hard-rock is ok.have a good time ,you will not forget it

i was in las vegas sometime and i sleep in alexis park hotel, bellagio is too big and expensive , believe me change . sorry for my english i'm italian

The best hotel in Vegas I've stayed at. (Others being NYNY, MGM, Mandalay, TI, Mirage). Supposedly Picasso is the best restaurant in town, but I did not eat there. Did eat at the Prime Steakhouse right next to it though, which was fabulous. Ask for seating next to the lake so you can watch the fountains.

The Olives Italian restaurant I did not think was that good.

There's an art museum with an Ansel Adams exhibit (through May I think).

Next door is Caesar's Palace & The Forum Shops.

This is Celine Dion's last year at Caesar's. I just saw her show (I'm not a great fan of her's) and it was great. Very Cirque de Soleil-like (same producer).

Since you said "whilst", you might be British. Elton John also plays at Caesar's from time to time (he goes on the road a bit, then back to Vegas for a couple weeks, and so on). I saw that show a couple years back, and it was better than Celine Dion. Also, the newest Cirque de Soleil show (at the Mirage) is based on the Beatles.

The Bellagio is beautiful. You should enjoy your stay there. All the restaurants there are good. We always make the Sunday Buffet there.

Ive never been but cant wait to go but check out the dates you want to go on because Thar mite be a convention in town that week and room are harder to get i found this out by looking on the web when i was thinking about going i know you will enjoy it good luck

Does anyone know the name of the song at oceans eleven end when they are in front of the bellagio fountains?

after they take danny the team is in front of the bellagio and there is a song in the background, a classical song can anyone tell me the name and artist please???

If you mean the most recent one (Oceans Thirteen), it's Claire de Lune. It's also played in Oceans Eleven at the end.

More specifically a "String Quartet" version of Claire de Lune. Originally composed by Claude Debussy. (Pronounced: de-bU-see) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20070929122223AA4zuoK&kid=Bs1wOlL2CHfiTo90ypam&s=comm&date=2009-01-28+19%3A58%3A44&.crumb=

Where should I stay? THEHotel at Mandalay Bay or the Bellagio?

Going to las vegas in september!

Definitely Bellagio. We stayed at Bellagio last August. Was fantastic! Centrally located, several pools, shops restaurants, bars etc. All top shelf. Service and rooms excellent. Request a fountain view room in the front of the hotel. They have hourly water shows played to music piped into station on the room's television. Easy to walk to a dozen other hotels to check them out. Enjoy!

Go to the Belagio. It has white tigers there. The one show were the guy almost died beacause of the tiger. hehehehe.

Mandalay Bay is a fantastic hotel with a great pool but it's way down on the strip. The Bellagio is much more central. I'd stay at the Bellagio for the location.

My favorite is the Bellagio it is very artistic casino. The Wynn casino is also very nice.

Have you checked out the flamingo Hilton?.. beautiful grounds/pools

Bellagio is beautiful and really expensive- and how much time are you going to spend in the room or hotel

Mandalay Bay is way on the far end of the major strip and closest to the airport ( geographically undesirable and noise)

Caesears /Mirage are also both very very nice

I'm going in August...we are staying at the Flamingo...I think it's by the Bellagio

any is fine to me

living in las vegas i can tell you where. the best place to stay would be mandaly bay. why because they have a nice looking swimming pool more like a lagoon type swimming pool. plus they have one of the best clubs. and the shark reef is right there in the convention portion of the building.

Can five people stay in the bellagio hotel in las vegas?

4 is almost always the limit at any hotel. Just have 1-2 people check-in.. And meet the others by the elevator or somewhere else. That'll be the last you ever hear of it.

You might want to get a suite though (2 beds and a sofa sleeper) when you do this. I've done 5, 6, 8 people in a room before.. Nobody is going to notice and nobody is going to care.

No you can only have 4 in any room at Bellagio, sure you could sneak the 5th in and you will probably get away with it but they will have no where to sleep, also if you get caught you will get thrown out. I would suggest that rather than this you get two rooms at another resort maybe Mirage ?

Mirage

https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?host=promo&pid=160&code=RRDLUX08&kbid=542076

Or suites at Mirage

https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?host=promo&pid=160&code=RRTWR08&kbid=542076

https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?host=promo&pid=160&code=RRPT08&kbid=542076

I think the limit is 4. BUT just have the 5th come later and not be with at check out. its by far one of the nicest hotels there. Another option is RIO which is all suites- you may have more room to spread out there.

Which Job should i pick. busser at lbs burger at red rock casino or pool cashier at bellagio?

I would say a pool cashier But it really depends on what you won't mined doing and makes good money.

Bellagio Italy In the summer?

I may go spend some time there this summer. Is it a fun place?

Bellagio is maybe one of the collest place of the north of Italy... I' m italian, so you can trust me ! I' m not sure but there s a hotel in Las Vegas called "Bellagio Hotel" and , according to the picture , it s great ! you can take a look of it and get an idea of what amazing it is....

have a nice holiday !

Hmm... Kaiti, dunno if I'd call it a "fun place";)

It's a small village on the lake, It's most certainly beautiful, but if you're looking for "fun" you may want to explore other areas too..

here are some pics:

Has anyone got married in Bellagio, Las Vegas? If yes, what was the experience like?

We areplanning to get married in Bellagio next year and have booked the chapel. We found the Grand Ballroom amazing. Although the catering manager took us around and it seemed spectacular, we are not too sure about the food and their expertise in marriage expertise. All looks promising though on the face of it. Anybody there who can feed in? Thanks

Hey, my wife and I got married in their chapel on June 11th of this year. It was amazing, it didnt feel like a cheap "vegas wedding"... everyone there was so nice, it may run around $10,000? Im not totally sure, but they take care of EVERYTHING, from flowers, to photos, video, all that stuff. We had our reception in the Pent House Suite.... it truly was amazing.

I got married across the street at the Aladdin - it's not as fancy as the Bellagio, but we were thoroughly impressed with everything. The actual wedding and the reception were both wonderful. The upscale Vegas hotels do so many weddings that everything goes like clockwork. And you really can't get any better venue than the Bellagio. Congratulations!

nope!

I am interested to know as well. We are getting married twice once in Fla and then in Vegas. We like the Grove

Please help me find a discontinued ferretti bellagio rim i really only need the center cap .?

Have you tried calling a local junk /salvage yard? depending what year it is, they might have it.

Who created the largest glass sculpture ever made, the Fiori di Como, which is housed in the Bellagio Hotel in

Chihuly. He is a very great artist and that piece is worth checking out.

The Fiori di Como is a display of 2000 hand-blown glass "flowers" which hang from the ceiling of the hotel lobby. The sculpture is by Dale Chihuly.

Anyone know the name of the Pavarotti song the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas plays during the fountain show?

Title: Rondine al Nido. Artist: Luciano Pavarotti. Composer: Vicenzo deCrescenzo. Work: La Rondine, Opera. Year: 1990. Length 3:23

Bellagio vs. Venetian?

Although we have been to Vegas several times, we are planning a special anniversary trip and would like to stay in a nice place. We are trying to decide between the Bellagio and the Venetian. Does anyone have an opinion on which is better? Thanks!

I prefer the Venetian. Much larger rooms and talk about luxury! The rooms are about 150 square feet larger than Bellagio. Beautiful, too. Marble foyer, sunken living room, writing desk, fax/copier machine, flat screen TV, tables, many chairs, in-room safe. The bedroom has another big flat screen TV, canopied beds. The bathroom is huge, separate tub and shower and has another flat screen TV. There is also a rooftop garden.

Not much difference between the Venezia or Venetian Towers. But the Venezia is supposed to be quieter and more elegant. The clientele tend to be wealthier and more refined. Not likely to have a bunch of drunken college kids running in the hallways.

There is a five acre pool area and some fabulous restaurants. I recommend Delmonico's Steakhouse. Have the concierge make a reservation otherwise the wait can be quite long.

*

Well both are very nice! Venetian has great sculptures and is a real sightseeing place. Bellagio has an amazing water fountain show. It is very romantic! It also has a breathtaking conservatory. On Christmas they had reindeers made out of different flowers. It also has many fountains and they change their exhibit every season or holiday. It is very relaxing! Hope that helps! Also, you might want to try Mandalay Bay!Amazing resort!

We're also taking an anniversary trip to Vegas, and narrowed it down to the same 2 hotels. We've chosen the Venetian, but our trip isn't for a few weeks.

We chose the Venetian because we liked the rooms (all suites) and the price was better. There are still lots of amenities - shops, restaurants, etc and we think we'll like the atmosphere there. I found Bellagio to be a bit snooty when we were hanging out there last year. But it looks fabulous too.

Actually try the Palazzo. It is brand new and gorgeous! Also when you stay there you also have access to all of the amenities of the Venetian because they are connected and technically the same hotel!

You can get the best rates on the palazzo at http://www.BestofVegas.com

For the money, I honeslty think Venetian is better. The rooms are huge, and very nice. Each room feels like your own suite. Bellagios rooms are also great, but a little smaller and more like a regular hotel room.

I dont think you are going to go wrong with either one. I would go with whatever gives you the best deal.

i've never stayed at either place, but just walking thru both of them, the Venetian seems like the better choice. the Bellagio didn't have much in the way of shopping. the Venetian sure did, though! that place is HUGE! loved it! Plus they have the gondola rides.

good luck & happy anniversary!

I love the Venetian over the Bellagio, and the Venetian is connected right to the brand new Palazzo which has a street bridge to Wynn.

Venetian is a fun mall with free entertainment, the Goggenheim Museum (still open for now), and more open space.

http://redhotescapes.com/

you can read the reviews and get a great deal and buy tickets for the shows on this site also I personally like the Bellagio I like the location better. plus the garden and shopping is great. Just be prepared to blow alot of money.

I would chose the Venetian. Their smallest suite is 650 sq. ft.

I think Bellagio is overrated.

The Venetian is supposed to have the biggest rooms on the strip. The mall connected to it is wonderful.

I love the fountain show at the Bellagio, but that's an easy walk from the Venetian.

I was married in February and we stayed at the Venetian. I love the shops and the canals. the staff was wonderful.

have fun.

Venetian

check out this site

http://www.cheapovegas.com/index.php

Both are excellent but have slightly different strengths and weaknesses.

Venetian:

1. Bigger rooms 720 vs 550 square feet (usually)

2. Best Poker room in Vegas unless you play big stakes

3. Slightly better video poker than Bellagio

4. No buffet (Zefferinos on Sunday is pretty good but not the best)

5. Excellent shows (Phantom, Blue Man, Wayne Brady (improv style comedy)

6. One of the best nightclubs but only when you get bottle service, Tau, and you get guest list pass! The Bank is not bad at Bellagio but is not as well decorated, crowded and fewer celebs. You might prefer it because of that though.

7. Top Italian in Vegas at B&B (actually in Palazzo)

8. One of the top 2 steakhouses at Cut (also in Palazzo)

Bellagio:

1. Better location--more in the heart of the strip

2. Second best buffet at least (maybe just moved ahead of Wynn in the last week or so)

3. Longer check-in than Venetian usually.

4. Best high stakes poker room but not good for comps unlike Venetian where they will give you what you earn.

5. Single zero roulette with European rules (best in Vegas if you bet $100-$300 minimum outside)

6. Best restaurants with view of fountains: Picasso, Le Cirque, etc.

7. Nice caviar bar that tops out at osetra which is still good.

8. O (Cirque du Soleil) is one of the best shows in Vegas.

Overall, I would look for things that might be important for you and then weight them accordingly. Someone who plays roulette for big money will definitely prefer Bellagio to Venetian which has single zero but not European. If the fountains are on your list, Bellagio is perfect for you.

If you will be spending time in your room, Venetian is better. Although some people love Prime and Le Cirque (Tuscan), I think the better steakhouse and Italian (multi-regional) is at Venetian. For buffet and fine dining with a view, Bellagio is better.

Also, when it comes to evaluating websites as sources of information, there are many good sites about Vegas. However, there is one website that gets recommended a lot that you might want to think about.

Cheapovegas.com has a listing of swankiest restaurants in Vegas. On their list is Top of the World.

Restaurants such as Robuchon, Guy Savoy, Alex, Craftsteak, B&B, Okada, etc. were not on their list. They have Top of the World on their list.

Let me repeat this one more time if you don't mind. They put Top of the World on their list ahead of Robuchon, Guy Savoy, Alex, Bartolotta, Wing Lei, B&B, Alize, etc.

If you see anyone recommend that website, hear anything remotely positive in any way about that website, please go to the website yourself and look at their recommendations. You will see that what I am saying is in fact true. Top of the World.

Bellagio for family?

I'm planning to take my wife and two kids, who are 14 and 18, to Las Vegas. I was wondering would Bellagio be a fun place for them, because i have heard a lot about their nice sightseeing and service?

If it were me I would go with the Venetian or Caesars Palace instead. Both are 5 star resorts and cater much more to the family than Bellagio.

The Bellagio has a rule that no one under 18 is allowed> Unless they are with an adult guest of the hotel. This is a real hassle if the kids want to go to the pool, run back up to the room, grab a bite to eat on their own, etc..

Caesars Palace

.

You should check into Mandelay Bay or THE HOTEL at Mandelay bay, from what I hear they have a beautiful wave pool that I am sure that they will enjoy.

Bellagio - no!!! They are awesome for 21 and up, but your 14 year old won't even be able to use the bathrooms on the main floor without getting hassled. Its the only casino that I've seen guards enforcing under 21 so strictly on the main floor. If by chance you really are planning to spend most of your time away from the hotel and just want to stay there to take advantage of their sightseeing & service, then it could be good (because yes - that is top notched) but I was put off by how abrasively they are about allowing kids to walk through the main floor.

The restaurants in Bellagio Hotel, Vegas. Anybody know them?

It's been a while since I've been to the Bellagio so I've forgotten the restaurant names. Do you know them? Have you eaten there recently.

Olives-- is a Todd english owned place. he is regarded as the best chef in the country.

Jasmine - is the chinese place- it is over priced. There are bette chinese places off the strip like out on spring mountain.

The cafe is okay at bellagio.

The gelato place is superb.

the buffet is one of the best on the strip

I actually really like the buffet in the Bellagio hotel. It's my favorite - even beyond the restaurants inside. They just have such good quality food in there and it's international so they have huge stations covering all different foods from all around the world. My favorite of course is the Alaskan King Crab legs that are already sliced down the middle for you - so no cracking needed!

Best steakhouse - Prime @ Bellagio or Luxor Steakhouse?

I'm taking my boyfriend to Vegas for his birthday in a couple weeks (he doesn't know it yet) and I'm trying to decide between a steak dinner at the Luxor Steakhouse and Prime at the Bellagio. I know some people say Ruth's Chris, but we've been there twice before and were never impressed. Any thoughts? And any insight on the price difference between the two?

The Prime at Bellagio! I live in Las Vegas, and Prime is wondeful!!!!! You can watch the water show while eating dinner. After you eat dinner, you should go to the atrium and look at the flowers, then walk the strip and watch all the shows! It is alll beautiful! Prime is so nice and great food!

FYI to anyone reading this later on. Due to time contraints, we ended up going to Craftsteak @ MGM Grand and both of our meals were EXCELLENT. My filet minon was superb as were the side dishes & wine! Fantastic service, wonderful atmosphere, and great food - what more could one want from a meal? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20070205154210AAOwjKx&kid=NbUvWzq5UjIVGZ7ewyyr&s=comm&date=2007-05-30+21%3A37%3A27&.crumb=

Agree with Brendan. Craftsteak is excellent. Also try SW at the Wynn...food there is tops at any restaurant.

NOTHING is the best at Luxor -- I mean Carrot Top is a fixture there, enough said?

Nothing's bad food-wise at Bellagio.

Prime has the best stake I have ever had and their mashed potatoes are like heaven. I liked Prime better than Ruths Chris and Mortons steakhouse.

Well worth every penny we spent about 140 and we had seats right in front of lake bellagio.

If you must choose between the two Prime but Charlie Palmers at the Four seasons hotel next to Mandalay bay is alot nicer, quiet & very romantic.

between the two prime is the best, however delmonico's at the venetian is my favorite. smith and wollensky, which is located on the strip next door to mgm is my second favorite and my third favorite is craftsteak at the mgm. i have been to all five. my fiance is a steak freak. as far as price, delmonico, prime, and smith and wollensky were all about equal in price and pretty expensive, but well worth it. craftsteak is a little cheaper, but not much and the steakhouse at the luxor is cheaper than that.

Very easy and quick answer--The Palm @ Caesar Palace. Its the place for beef and lobster tails. Its the place for Good service. No place serves better Caesar salad. No place offers a better wine selection. No place your boyfriend will enjoy more for food and drink. Just phone ahead for a reservation--will have a difficult time getting in without one.

I have tried them all and can absolutely recommend Nero's at Caesar's Palace as being the best for the quality, size, and preparation of their steaks. The consistency is never varying.

The price, astronomical, but well worth it.

Go to CraftSteak at the MGM...they have the most amazing Kobe beef. CraftSteak is owned by Tom Colicchio from the TV show Top Chef. I have always had a great experience at CraftSteak!

I have to recommend going to Emeril's Delmonico at the Venetian. Steaks are awesome. Expensive, but definitely worth the price.
