Do Bellagio and Venetian in Vegas actually check how many people are staying in one room? ?

I have 5 adults and 1 minor, planning to stay in either Bellagio or Venetian in Vegas in a room with two queen beds.. they're very expensive and just going there to see and tour. Do they actually check how many people are in the room and not allow it? Thanks!

To amend the first poster's answer - they also post security at the elevators - especially at night and on weekends, and they make sure everyone has a room key in hand to get into the elevator, so they'll notice if you ask for six room keys.

Of course they do. They have security and cameras everywhere.

Some housekeeping staff actually get bonuses for bringing this to mgmt's attention.

Stay at the Venetian; the rooms are much larger with a nice seating area.
