How much should I expect to pay to visit the lake district (Lake Como, Bellagio etc) in Italy?

Not looking for five-star, not looking for budget either. Something middle of the road. Any suggestions on lodging appreciated.

Its going to be a lot, since that area is ususally pretty costly. Here is what you should do, go to Expedia.com and look for hotels. I would stay in Bellagio since its bigger and closer, and will give you a better choice of hotels. You didnt specify dates so I cant really help you there. Just have a look, its usually the cheapest price out there.

Keep in mind that area is spendy, expect to pay like 3-5 euro for a small coffee (like an espresso) and then 3-4 euro for a bottle of water. If you go to the grocery stores instead of bars you will save a lot.
