Would you recommend the Bellagio Hotel over the others in Las Vegas?

Planning a trip to Vegas with my wife, father, and his girlfriend. I'd like to hear about anyone's prior experiences (good or bad) with this hotel. Thanks!

I have stayed at several places, and all were very nice My favorite was the Bellagio, the service there is impeccable, I was treated like a king (which I am not) Rooms very spacious, clean and a great view of the strip.

The Bellagio is very large but I had a map and had no problems getting in and out, although I did spend the majority of my time there.

There is much to see at the Bellagio, the O show by Cirque Du Soleil, the Botanical Gardens, The Famous Fountains in Lake Bellagio and the Gallery of Fine art.

And the food, My favorite was Michael Mina (formerly Aqua) Same Chef/Owner, and for our farewell breakfast we spent several hours at the Buffet,

We did not do any shopping but a fair amount of browsing.

If you decide to stay there ask for a lake view room you will not be disappointed.

The only other hotel/casinos that are as nice or nicer is The Wynn and The Venetian.

Have Fun!

I love the champagne buffet at the Bellagio, but, I have never stayed there before. I live closeby, so, we usually go for the Flamingo. It's economical and centrally located to Mandalay Bay, Caesar's, Treasure Island and Harrah's.

I think the location of the Bellagio is perfect. Be sure to make reservations to see O. It is unforgettable awesome. We felt that Bellagio was centrally located to see the other main things we wanted to see in Vegas. We have previously stayed at the Ventian...where the rooms were bigger. It was not as centrally located and kind of awkward walking onto the strip from.

I'd say stay at the Bellagio and make sure you get some gellato at the shop in the Bellagio.

It's very good. Been there a bunch of times. The ladies will love it. But the guy who built it has now built the Wynn and moved on, so you might want to check that out as well. He moved all his art from the Bellagio to the Wynn.

I prefer the Venetian. Their rooms are larger (all-suite hotel) and just as nice.

I prefer the Luxor, and New York New York.. I think that for the money these 2 places are better.

Have fun were ever you stay. You can get the numbers and call them and see who is running a special. There is always someone running a special in Vegas.

Bellagio is very beautiful! I don't think you would regret staying there : ) I won money in there casino too! My favorites in my price range are Treasure Island and Mandalay Bay. My favorite pricey hotels are Venitian and Bellagio! So if you can afford to stay there do it! Bellagio also has one of the best buffets too!

Beautiful hotel - but pricey. Bring lots of spending money - especially for food!

Comparable to the Venetian and the Wynn in regards to room amenities & price. All three are located within 1/2 mile of each other near the middle of the strip.

Don't waste your time with the north strip - it's run down and trashy. The Freemont Street Experience is also a waste of time.

Hope you enjoy your trip!

the paris hotel or nothing man.

Bellagio is very nice, very expensive. Also just as nice in my opinion is Ceasar's--select the Forum or Augustus Tower; Also Paris Hotel, Mandalay Bay. All of these are exceptional compared to the average hotel anyhwere else. For your first time, Bellagio, Paris, or Ceasar's are all at the same intersection, Flamingo Road/Las Vegas Blvd and that is the best place to stay. You can walk to all of the neighboring hotels, and their shops and never need to drive anywhere else. Ceasar's and Paris both have large indoor high class shopping and entertainment; Bellagio has some high $ shopping but not nearly as much as Ceasar's or Paris. Best thing to see, hands down, though: Bellagio's fountain shows. Amazing. and Free.

I would put Venetian and Wynn above Bellagio. Bellagio is a very nice hotel, but you do not feel in awe when you are in the place, which you do at Venetian and Wynn. Best thing about Bellagio is their show "O" and the buffet.

There is also a beautiful new casino-hotel just 15 minutes off the strip, near the interstate. It's Red Rock Station, part of the Station chain of "local" hotels/casinos. Man, it is so flippin' beautiful - and I'm not just saying that because a bud of mine designed much of the interior and furnishings either. A very viable alternative - and they have shuttles to The Strip if you don't care to drive 15 minutes.

It's a very nice hotel that is directly linked to three other hotels. It's not the best and other hotels will leave you drooling... but it's way better than most accommodations around the country.

Plus... you're probably not going to be in your room long enough to appreciate (or criticize) the accommodations.

Most hotels offer the same ammenities so it really doesn't matter where you stay because in the end, you will only be using the hotel to sleep and that's it. When you go to Vegas, no one spends time in the hotel rooms.

It's good, especially if there is a UFC fight going on.

The Bellagio is very nice -- but the nicest place now is the Wynn Hotel.
